Complete Hockey NY Enjoys Successful Summer

The Complete Hockey NY lineup enjoyed a great deal of success this summer as it took its first run at the New England Pro-Am Chowder Cup. The summer began with the Complete Hockey 94's who went 3-0 in the preliminary round. The 94's advanced to the playoffs, but fell to the East Coast Selects 2-1. Andrew Poturalski (Nichols School) finished the tournament as the third leading scorer.

On the same weekend, the Complete Hockey 95's followed suit winning its three games to advance to the playoff round. The 95's won its quarterfinal game 3-0 before falling to the eventual tournament champion New Jersey Hitmen 3-1.

Later in July, the Complete Hockey 97's rolled into Foxboro and finished the preliminary round 2-1. The 97's won their first playoff game 6-1. THe smeifinal matchup pitted the 97's against the South Shore Kings, the #3 ranked 97 team at the end of last season. The Kings proved to be too much for Complete Hockey defeating our 97 team 3-1 en route to their tournament championship.

The final team to participate in the Chowder Cup was the College Open team in the Senior Chowder Cup. The College team won their first two games convincingly, but unfortunately, the team fell in their final game and failed to advance to the playoffs.

All in all, Complete Hockey was well represented over the summer in it's inaugural year. Check back for updates on next summer. Complete Hockey is working on plans to expand its team offerings for 2011.
